We are counting down to mere days before Father's Day, but we actually celebrated early this year since two of our sons will not be home with us this Sunday. In case you're struggling wondering what to get the father figure in your life, scroll through for some Last Minute Father's Day Gift Ideas.
Last Minute Father's Day Gift Ideas
FABULOUS AND FREE
I always appreciate time alone for Mother's Day, as do all of my mom friends, so that's definitely my first suggestion...the gift of saying "this is your day to do whatever you want {even if its nothing at all}."
That said, another idea that only costs an investment of your time and creativity but would probably be loved most of all...a handwritten letter to Dear old Dad, letting him know how much you love and appreciate him and all he does.
US PARKS PASS
For as long as I can remember (which isn't that far back sadly #welcometo50) we have been traveling to national parks for summer vacations with our kids. My husband is the real planner and so far, we've been to little and big parks in Texas and throughout the Southeast, way out West including Bryce, Zion, and the Grand Canyon. I jokingly complain about it to my husband, but I completely agree that we want our kids to know our beautiful country and think we succeeded. If you're a fan of national parking too, you can get a US Parks Pass for the year to enjoy! I highly recommend it! And if travel is not in the cards this year, you can always grab this book for making future plans.
GARMENT DUFFLE BAG
We just purchased a travel trunk from Away for one of our sons to use during his study abroad in Spain this summer and I have to tell you that i'm kicking myself for not adding this garment duffle bag to our check out cart. It's pretty much the perfect 2-in-1 travel partner with the wrinkle-free functionality of a garment bag meets the ease of a weekender.

Here's a link for $40 off your first Away bag. Consider adding this packable sling bag for a little gift for yourself ;)
SHOES
The older we get, my husband and I both agree that it's important not to skimp on shoes, meaning buy what's comfortable and attractive to you but ALWAYS buy quality. A few years ago a friend recommended the brand Samuel Hubbard to the hubs and judging by how many pairs the hubs now owns I can tell he's a big fan. He may be adding this slip on sneaker to his collection in the near future.

GRILL ACCESSORIES
If your man is a big griller, or wants to get started, this grill tool set includes 2 large grill prep trays and barbecue tool set with storage case. Does this photo remind you of a makeup brush kit or is it just me? I guess it's the manly man equivalent, so I'm not far off!

We have this set and I can't tell you how much I especially love the grill prep trays. They're sturdy and easy to clean and the color coding is a no brainer for preventing cross contamination (red trays for raw food and black trays for cooked food).
SKIN CARE
The most important thing for men to do with their skin care routine is just to start one. You can't go wrong with just a couple of products to start. I'd suggest starting with a good travel set like this one and adding a nice sunscreen for good measure. For the guy in your life who's already well versed in products for the skin, I think he might like this super set from one of my favorite brands Aesop.
FOR THE AVID READER
I love a good coffee table book and not just for decoration. Gasp! I know! Yes, this is a twofer y'all. Buy the fab father in your life a book on the topic he loves but that will look great on display on your coffee table at home. It's a win win. You're welcome :)

I've tagged a bunch of others down below for your perusal along with some other father-favorited ideas.
Happy early Father's Day to all the dads out there - we see you, we love you, and we thank you for all you do! xoxo!!
