This post is for all my peeps who find themselves acting surprised opening holiday gifts from your family even though you singlehandedly found, bought and even wrapped said gifts. I see you. I am one of you. #allegedly Today I'm sharing things I'm loving lately including my most favorite recent finds as shopping inspiration for additional gifts you might want to act surprised about, you know, if they should magically appear in your lap in the next week or so.
Things I'm Loving Lately...
Luxe Sweatshirt
I bought this luxe sweatshirt from Athleta recently and as soon as I tried it on, I went back and bought more in multiple colorways. It feels like butter with its brushed interior. If I could wear one everyday believe me I would. You're welcome in advance.
Sweatpant Jeans
Yes, you read that right. Sweatpant. Jeans. I saw these on a lady in the airport recently and I can't tell you how many times she was approached in the gate area for the deets. What can I say? When people talk y'all, I listen and promptly write it down, ha). This striped style comes in two colorways, denim or black. Your future weekend plans thank you in advance.
See below for more of my fall "what to wear" favorites or the entire list here.
Party Plans
I'll admit we currently have no party plans for the holiday season but when I saw this dress I must admit I have half a mind to order this just in case. I'm still debating...but if you already have holiday party plans or celebrate big for New Years Eve, me thinks you need this dress.
I've been using products from Virtue Labs for a few years now with zero complaints. Recently though I ordered from their Flourish collection for the hubs. His hair started looking so good that I may have ordered more for myself, you know, to share with him and all. Happily I've personally noticed considerably less shedding via a scientific study of fewer strands showing up on my beautiful new light and white marble like bathroom floor. Bottom line: if you're a pre-, peri-, or full blown menopausal woman who may be seeing lesser locks lately, do yourself a favor and try this line. You can see more of my favs for hair care here.
I've shared my love for Trinny London's skin care line in our monthly newsletters before and am right now chomping at the bit for a re-order I placed around Thanksgiving. I don't love that it takes so long to travel all the way from England so just know that if you do place an order it might take a couple of weeks to arrive. This time my reorder was for full size products I tried for the first time in her clever travel sets like the one below (which I also reordered and keep at the ready for quick trips). I love her packaging and can vouch that I've never had an issue with leakage during my travels. I'm hoping that the Trinny powers that be will arrange to take up permanent stateside status soon so that none of us has to wait too long for replacements.

I shared a while back in this post "5 Ways to Refresh Your Mind, Body, and Wardrobe" that I sprung for a treadmill to get back to running after a little necessary break following foot issues. I have to tell you two years in, I still love love love mine and always look forward to running on it, especially when the weather is rainy or too hot (which is often here in Houston). Since this is the season to treat yourself so to speak, I thought I'd share again in case you're looking for a new way to exercise. I have the NordicTrack 10 which is still available although they do have an updated version of it seen below...
When I was trying to suss out which one to buy, I don't think they had this handy guide to help you pick. I knew I wanted a compact treadmill but also one that adjusts to an incline and mine does, up to 12%. I have to tell you though, the best part is something that I thought I didn't want or wouldn't use. It came with a 30 day iFit Trial which are trainer led video workouts where the machine adjusts on its own to the speed and incline set by the trainer (note you can also override the machine and dial it up or down according to your own specific needs). I thought for sure I'd drop the iFit like it was hot, but I've kept it going.
When you first join you can decide what types of workouts you want to do - whether its walking, running, hiking, beginner, intermediate, advanced, short lengths, long lengths, you do you. I started out with a walking tour of Lake Como in Italy and since then I've been all around the world while running with iFit trainers (there are workouts that are off the treadmill too to do weights or body resistance so don't get scared that you'll get bored). Hands down my favorite trainer to follow is Tommy Rivs. Running with Rivs is like running with an human encyclopedia...oh the things you learn and the places you see. Highly recommend!
I would recommend paying the extra $200 or so to get it delivered to your room of choice and set up for you. To me, it was worth every penny because I had it delivered upstairs. Also, I don't know if this works every time but originally I had the 7i version in my cart as I was debating which one to get. I got a pop up on my computer saying, hey, if you want to try the 10i instead of the 7i you can save $200 off now. So I did, and I did. It has a slightly larger screen and my eyes are happy plus that savings offset the white glove delivery so there you go.
I could keep on going but duty calls y'all. If you need more inspiration, you can find all of my favorite collections here. Feel free to send me a DM on IG or leave a note in the comments section with any of your favorite finds. Sharing is caring after all. Inquiring minds want to know!
